Brooklyn Flea

I am headed to New York this week and could not be more excited to finally check out Brooklyn Flea.  As an avid vintage shopper/hoarder and collector this East Coast treasure trove will definitely win me over.  While I am there I will be looking for a few key pieces for a bunch of projects….looking forward to showing you what I find!

The City Guide / Los Angeles: The London

I am excited to introduce you to one of my very good LA-based friends.  Ally, who is currently in the process of launching a new wedding/fashion related project (it’s going to be  a VERY  good one, details to come!),  got married at The London West Hollywood Like Ally,  I fell in love with this hotel’s decor and asked her to share a few of her  favorite details for this new edition of The City Guide...The perfect spot to feature for Valentine’s Week…

Guest Post:  With the perfect mix of modern and elegant, The London hotel was THE place for me and my then fiance to get married.  Looking at the intricate yet simplistic light features, the beautiful circular black and white tile patterns throughout and the all white sleek carrera marble bathrooms, I was hooked!  The rooftop bar is a fabulous place to grab cocktails and celeb spot while watching the sun set on famed Sunset Blvd.  The London is warm and inviting which is exactly what a hotel should be.  The only thing missing from the gorgeous plush sofas are a couple Stone Textile pillows!

Thanks for sharing!

The City Guide / Chicago: Jayson Home

We are trying something new…Since there are so many great store interiors, hotels, + new restaurants out there I thought it would be fun to have some of my friends stop by and share their favorites with you.  Let’s start off with Rachel, a regular guest, (see her previous room designs here) and her favorite Chicago store, Jayson Home.
Rachel’s thoughts: Jayson home is my favorite home store in Chicago. Their unique furniture pieces, accessories, tabletop,  lighting and rugs are a gorgeous addition to any home. I honestly think its a one stop shop for any room design. I seriously can spend hours in this store. In addition to their new pieces they also have a growing collection of vintage pieces.  They have a huge selection of custom fabrics for any of their upholstered products and during the warmer seasons I love walking around their gorgeous garden patio.
