Stone Textile At Lawndale / Booth Photos

Lawndale_cover

If you follow along on Instagram you will know that we participated in the Lawndale Design Fair in Houston last week.  It was a whirlwind of a weekend.  My favorite part (besides meeting a ton of design savvy people)  was designing our booth.  I wanted to create a living room vibe that felt inviting and inspiring.  We used the new Deco Stripe Wallpaper on the back wall–we have been receiving a ton of inquiries about the wallpaper.  Please email us at info@stonetextilestudio.com for swatches and pricing.  This will be launching on the site soon!  Here are some of my favorite shots from the weekend…

Our booth–we used vintage chrome chairs from Magpie Fields, I love them paired with our pillows.

I found this brass etagere a few weeks ago — such great lines.  It was so popular that we ended up selling it and not taking it back!

Stone Textile Styled / The Deco Stripe Pillow

Stone-Textile_Styled

This week I finished up an Edesign project for an amazing client.  We have very similar tastes so designing her Chicago bachelorette pad was really fun.  In her living room design, featured below, I used our new Modern Deco Print Pillow.  See how I have styled it above.

Spotted: Where Stone Textile Has Been Popping Up This Week…

Black + White Patchwork_Stone Textile

I have to say that these “spotted” posts are my favorite to share with you.  As a product designer, it is truly thrilling to see how our customers style their Stone Textile pillows + accessories.  From Toronto to Los Angeles there are so many amazing design moments to share today.  Above:  The B+W Patchwork Pillow spotted in Toronto at the home of the very talented interior designer Christine Dovey of Bijou and Boheme.  You must take a look at her full home tour on Style Me Pretty Living.

Stud Leather_Stone Textile

Spotted:  The (first!) Black Leather Stud Pillow in my friend Allison’s new home in LA.  She really did such a great job with her space.  When she sent me a photo of her custom upholstered chair we both agreed that the new Stud Leather was the way to go.  The print + the studs work so well together.

Tweed Four Square_Stone Textile

Spotted:  The Tweed + Leather Four Square Pillows also in Alison’s living room.  So pretty with her upholstered coffee table / ottoman.

Best-Of-2013_Stone-Textile

2013 has been quite the year.  I have said this MANY times so one more time (this year) will not hurt….As a designer,  the absolute best feeling is to see how our customers + clients use their Stone Textile pillows, throws, + tabletop accessories in their own homes.  The collage above highlights some favorite “Stone Textile At Home” moments of 2013.  Our designs have graced the pages of beautiful design magazines and we have even shipped our pillows all the way to Australia!  I would like to thank all of you for your endless support and for helping Stone Textile grow this year.  We have some really exciting things planned for 2014 and cannot wait to share them with you.  Thank you for reading!  Xx  Elizabeth

Last year my close friends, that live in New York, asked me to help them decorate their new apartment on the Upper East Side.  This project really put the whole edesign idea to the test.  It worked very well.  After the NY Project was complete (after many emails, phone calls, Skype sessions of course!) is when I decided to launch the edesign aspect of Interiors By Stone Textile (learn more here)  Take a look at the living room, dining room, and master bedroom below.  The image above is a favorite, the ariel view of the metallic gold tree stump coffee table is a definite conversation piece (from the ABC home).

Stone Textile At Home / Alaina Kaczmarski from The Everygirl

Alaina_The-Everygirl_Stone-

Last week, Alaina shared her beautiful home on The Everygirl and we were so thrilled to see that a few Stone Textile products were involved.  The living room shot above is an all time favorite.  Alaina styled her black Color Block Pillows perfectly.  It is obvious that she knows what she is doing when it comes to styling!  I also love how she chose to drape her B+W Stripe Throw  off centered over her sofa as we are big fans of asymmetry around here!  Make sure to take a look at her full home tour here…

Thank you for participating in the Stone Textile At Home series Alaina!

Stone Textile At Home…

Carla, from the design blog Color Me Carla, recently remodeled her bathroom (click here for the post I did on the project).  When she shared the photos with me I was blown away with how amazing it turned out. It is such a bright and inviting space and you can really tell how much time and effort went into this project.  I was even more excited to see our Signature Print Fabricused in such a beautiful way.  Xx, Elizabeth
