Five Favorites: Pretty In Pink / Children’s Bedroom Edition

Kids Room_Teen

Doesn’t the image above give you a bit of room envy?  I mean that four postured mirrored bed is pretty amazing.  To make it even worse…it is a teenaged girl’s room!  The very talented Kelly Wearstler designed this ultra cool teenaged hang out in Bel Air (the whole home is a must see and was featured in AD)  Besides the glamorous bed,  the vintage chair (that was mostly likely recovered in a fuchsia pink leather) also caught my eye.  Here are my five favorite ways to incorporate a bold pink into a space….

Kids Room _7

Go all out and paint the room pink…

Kids Rom 3Incorporate different shades of pink into the draperies and bed linens..

Bedroom PinkThe image above may not be from a kid’s room but, how great would this beautiful butterfly piece accent a toddler or pre-teen’s room?

Use vintage scarves to add color and texture…
