Get The Look / Teal

From turquoise to jade, saturated blue-greens have been catching our eye for some time as the perfect punch to liven up more neutral spaces. Teal is a compromising color, in a good way – part natural and part glamorous, part masculine and part feminine, part vibrant and part subdued. Here I’ve rounded up some favorite images to inspire a Springtime pick-me-up for your space. If you’re struggling to find an accent color to spice up your home, this may be just the one!

Get The Look / Modern Planters

Modern Planters

*To go along with my outdoor project post from last week, I asked Audrey to pick out her favorite modern planter accessories for the yard….such great finds!

Spring has finally sprung here in Austin, and we’re already up to 80 degree afternoons. It’s amazing how the mood of the city lifts as the trees begin to bloom and paddlers dot our beloved Town Lake once again. In honor of the sun’s much celebrated return, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite planters that have a modern-eclectic Austin vibe. If your plants managed to survive the winter, treat them to an upgrade with one of these beauties. The black ones happen to go perfectly with my thumb!

OPI X Clark + Kensington

I had to share this collaboration with you.   You can now use your favorite OPI nail colors on your walls!  What a genius collaboration.  OPI recently  partnered with paint brand Clark + Kensington to offer some of their most popular nail colors in paint form.  Above, the walls are painted in “Nein Nein Nein Ok Fine”  - a personal favorite for winter.  Other colors available are “Garden Stone”, “Black Onyx”, and  ”Miami Beet”.  It is funny, I always go “You Don’t Know Jacques” on my nails because, in my opinion, it’s the perfect gray. A few weeks ago, I thought about this color as a wall color and how great it would be.  Maybe they will do it next season?  Learn more about the collection and see a full color list here.

Decorate With This / Geometric Accessories

Geo_Color Mirrors

I love adding a little edge to my designs with geometric accessories.  Here are a few that you can easily include…Above:  Geo Mirrors by Hay.  How cool are these?  I love how they took a simple wall mirror and made it into a piece of art.  My friend Deeyn carries these beauties in her shop, Nannie Inez.

Geo Shape

There are a lot of these  geometric objects out there right now and I have to say the one featured above is a favorite.  Here are a few similar ones:  1,  2, 3

Geo Coasters

Add a little edge to your bar cart with our Diamond Cut Acrylic Coasters

Geo Table

This table looks more expensive then it is.  The diamond side table by Urban Outfitters is a steal…

Geo Mirror

This is a great statement mirror for a dining room or even pair two together in a bathroom.
