Thank you for all of the kind words on our recent home tour in Lonny Magazine! Each week I am going to breakdown each room and share my sources with you. Today I am sharing photos from my old home office. Yes, old–we just moved into our new space (to make room for the baby) this week. It has been a little crazy over here and the new space is definitely not photo ready. Above is a close up of my inspiration board. Pretty much organized chaos in old fashioned “Pinterest” form.
I had this desk custom made. It’s called the “Deco Leg” desk. I designed some benches for a client last year, very similar, and wanted to do the same thing for my desk. There was a lot of black + white going on already so I knew I wanted to have it finished in a bright color. I worked with a local company called AK Woodworking –they are fabulous to work with and made my design become a reality. The chair is vintage that I had reupholstered in a black and cream embroidered fabric. The lamp is also vintage. The gallery wall consists of prints from Minted, Amy V Cooper, Art.com, + Alyson Fox.
The vintage brass etagere was a Craigslist find and I drove all the way to Dallas to pick it up. You can read more about that vintage excursion here. The acrylic globe is from Barney’s which we received as a wedding gift.
I fell in love with the design lines of the mirror above. The colors were BAD. I repainted it gold, black, and white and it is now one of my favorite pieces. The daybed is covered in a African Mud Cloth+ Stone Textile Pillows.
