One Room Challenge / Week No. 2

It is week No. 2 of the One Room Challenge and we are making some great headway.  Last week, I described what my general vision was for the bedroom and this week I am going to share what actual products I am using to put this space together.  I love mixing more modern pieces with unique vintage finds so a lot of vintage furnature + accessory shopping took place this week.  I also ordered the pieces that take a few weeks to get in.  Fingers crossed everything makes it in on time!  Above is a little collage of what we have committed to thus far.  I am not 100% on the pillow selection so that may be changing once the wallpaper goes up.

The GOODS:  Ceiling Light / Lamps Plus–I have been wanting to use this Jonathan Adler ceiling light for a while–it is going to look so much better then the ceiling fan!  Artwork / Minted – We have decided to add a little pop of color to the nightstands (see below) so I wanted to bring the color back with our art selection.  Wallpaper / Lindsay Cowels  –her storm print will make the perfect accent wall.  Bedside Lamps / Vintage 1970′s from Scout Design Studio, Diamond Shaped Mirror / Vintage from Chairish, Bedding / Wayfair

Below are the vintage nightstands I purchased for the space.  We decided to have them custom lacquered in a beautiful blue/green.  They are being worked on now and will hopefully have them next week.

These are the lamps we are using for the nightstands.  I am thinking about switching out the white shades for black ones so they pop more on the wallpaper.

This is the vintage black + gold console table I found for across the bed.  I am thinking a large piece of art hung over it will be perfect.

Next week I hope to have more finished pieces to show you and hope to have the wallpaper hung.  Make sure to check out what everyone else has accomplished this week!  You can also follow along on Instagram using #oneroomchallenge
