My Place / Nursery Progress

So many people have asked about my nursery plans so I thought it would be fun to share what I have done so far.  I am 22 weeks so we are more then half way there.  This pregnancy is really flying by.  I have done a lot of nurseries over the years  and I have to say it has been very fun designing our own!  I love native american and tribal influences so I am incorporating that into the nursery design using bold geometric patterns.  Let’s just say this little boy will be exposed the whole “print on print” thing at an early age…

Wallpaper:  We are going with this wallpaper print by Lindsay Cowles.  It will go on the crib wall.  She has so many great paper options that it was so hard to choose.  She is very talented.

Vintage Arrow Light:  This arrow will most likely hang above the day bed.  It is big–around 5 feet wide.

Custom Chief Art:  This may be my favorite part!  I have loved Jenna Snyder-Phillips work for a while and she created a custom chief print for the nursery using the colors from our wallpaper.  She did such a good job.

Window Treatment Fabric:  I love this print by Eskayel and  just ordered some for the window treatments.

Pillows:  There will be a daybed in the nursery and I want it filled with pillows.

Mobile:  I found this company on Etsy.  I will use a mixture of gold and black geometric shapes to hang above the crib.

Crib:  I went with the Parker Crib by Duc Duc NYC.  I love the modern look.

Have a great weekend!

xx Elizabeth
